Tuan Pham

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Statistics and Data Science at University of Texas, Austin. My mentors are Alessandro Rinaldo and Purnamrita Sarkar. I am also supported by EnCORE: Institute for Emerging CORE Methods in Data Science.

I am generally interested in statistical theory, with an emphasis on the interplay among online decision-making, optimization, and machine learning. I am also working on theoretical aspects of generative models. During graduate school, I worked on high-dimensional statistics and applied probability.
